About M. Fatimah Weening L.Ac.
Fatimah is a board certified Acupuncturist in New York, Pennsylvania, and Maryland. She specializes in preventive medicine, women's health, anxiety, digestive issues, and chronic pain. She is the founder of Global Wellness Acupuncture and practices in New York City.
She completed her undergraduate studies at Smith College where she received degrees in American Studies and Art and graduated magna cum laude. She received her Master of Acupuncture degree from Tai Sophia Institute for the Healing Arts, and has completed post-graduate studies and studied with world-renowned practitioners of the Five Element tradition, including Lonny Jarrett and Debra Kaatz.
Mission
Fatimah believes in your body's innate ability to heal and the common sense wisdom of Chinese Medicine, a healing art tested by both time and current clinical research. She provides a therapy that eases physical, mental, and emotional tension so that you can focus on what truly matters to you.
Her mission is to deliver a renewed sense of well being to each client and the tools to sustain balanced health. She finds her work to be both a joy and a privilege, and looks forward to working with you!
