Initial Consult   
Your initial consultation is a comprehensive diagnosis based on Five Element Energetics. In this session we discuss your goals, cover patient history and conduct a physical examination according to Chinese and Japanese medical principles. This one and a half to two-hour session also includes a first needle treatment.  Please come to your appointment without scented moisturizers, perfume or make-up. 

Follow-up Treatment
A follow-up sixty minute acupuncture appointment consists primarily of a needle treatment based on an assessment of your progress.  Wellness coaching helps to guide your next steps.  Pulse reading, meridian palpitation and other techniques are administered as well.  Fine needles and moxa, a restorative herb, may then be applied along the acupuncture points. Please come to your appointment without moisturizers, perfume or make-up.


To get the most out of your treatment, wear comfortable clothing, eat a nourishing meal before your appointment (two hours prior to your scheduled time is ideal).  Please avoid strenuous activity for the 24 hours following your session.
